Full Services and Pricing for France

Important Considerations

Shipping wine to someone in France is not easy, but it can be done successfully if adequately prepared.
Our price includes the payment of Import Duties & Taxes (D/T). However, the French government requires the Recipient to pay €60 “Brokerage Fee” during customs clearance. The same rule applies to gifts. The Sender who is gifting is not allowed to pay this administrative fee on behalf of the Recipient.

Pricing Considerations

Gliding Eagle Full Service Fee is calculated based on the declared value of the wines, as it includes the Customs Duties & Taxes (D/T) to be pre-paid. The D/T rate is approximately 20% of the wine value.

Volume Limit per Shipment

There is a volume limit of 4.5 liters (6x 750ml bottles) per shipment into France. We make split weekly shipments to clear customs for higher volumes.
